Bombay Pickles - Lower High Street - Indian Curry Social 11th December 2017

For our December meeting on Monday the 11th December 2017 proposal is to meet at 7.00pm in:-

The Duke William,
25 Coventry St,
Stourbridge,
DY8 1EP

For our initial alcohol lubrication.

Then at 8.00pm we walk (or crawl) round the corner to:-

Bombay Pickles,
22 Lower High St,
Stourbridge,
DY8 1TA

If you look at the website http://www.bombaypickles.co.uk/ they do a Privilege Night for Tuesday & Wednesdays for £13.95.

Which consists of:-
Any starter
Any Main Dish
Any Side Order
Rice or Nan Bread
Coffee/Ice Cream or Cake.

They have said for our party they will extend this offer for the Monday Night.

They also have a drinks license so Draught Cobra and various bottled beers, wines, soft drinks etc. are available, these or any changes to food orders away from the above to cost extra.

(For anyone driving would say its better to park in the High Street outside Bombay Pickles and walk round to the Duke William).

So that I can confirm numbers to them, can you please confirm by 30th November 2017.

Just to say! What an excellent night we had, with intrepid travellers from as far as Bridgnorth and Bewdley about 15 of us had Great beer and Super value, well presented and tasty food, Thanks to my Star chauffeur Tim for the Lift.
Thanks to Barry for organising a great Venue.
Thanks to all who made it in very adverse conditions.

A big thank you to Barry for arranging another enjoyable ‘Christmas Curry Night’ the food was tasty and well presented.

I also appreciate the work Jon must have put in to produce the caption competition, extremely entertaining with some clever and witty answers.

Hi All,

Have to agree was a very good night, but some of the credit goes to Bob, who when he asked me to do the December meeting said to try somewhere different like Stourbridge area, and mentioned Bombay Pickles even though I believe at the time he had not been there for a curry himself.

I then just had the difficult and ‘arduous’ task of dragging the wife (and the whole family on a couple of occasions) round different curry houses to see which one we preferred, (sometimes having to test the local pubs as well).

Bombay Pickles came at the top, so just to be sure I tested the Duke and Bombay Pickles a couple of times just to be sure.
